The Business OperationsSAP Systems Analyst will partner with SOPSupply Chain management team and will be responsible to optimize forecasting, inventory management, order fulfillment and supply planning processes by identifying and pursuing improvement opportunities passionately using appropriate systems, analytical models, statistical methods, and accumulation of subject matter expertise. The candidate will conduct data discovery, programmatic collection and data pipeline development, model development and data organization to provide robust graphical data visualizations and recommendations to improve business processes and performance in the Service Parts Planning realm and in support of the Thales SOP Roadmap. The candidate will perform Causal Analysis of process defects and develop and implement Corrective action plans to resolve them. The success of all efforts are measured by the results of the specific initiatives of the candidate but also by impact on the key performance indicators for the entire org such as Customer Service Levels, Inventory Turns and Excess and Obsolete (EO) material. So, an effective candidate will be a team player as we measure success not just individually but also collectively. The position will independently drive the assigned projectsprograms with stakeholders in a matrix environment and present the relevant KPI to the management. Serves as project lead andor “site super user for systems implementations for Thales Supply Chain team. Leads User Acceptance Testing for new systems and modifications at the site. Trains site staff on the use of site systems and tools to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and improve productivity. Supports training activities during account start-ups and on an ongoing basis as needed. Enabling continuous improvement in Thales’s Planning process, systems and results as described above Data collection, data pipeline development and data analysis for problem solving or ad hoc needs Leads Basic ProjectProgram management for Thales Supply Chain SAP initiatives. Work with business stakeholders to determine their business needs and transform them into business requirements specifications Independently drive the assigned projectsprograms with stakeholders in a matrix environment and present the relevant KPI to the management. Coordinates with Thales IT to resolve site technical issues. Ensures issues are being identified, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner. Serves as functional user to define site requirements for layout and design of site databases. Investigates and recommends new technologies and information systems appropriate to the site. May work with system providers to obtain costs for system enhancements. Designs, develops, and implements spreadsheets, databases, and other tools to provide ongoing analysis of operational activities (e.g., storage capacities, inventory, freight flow, transportation solutions, etc.). Identifies areas for improving service levels, reducing costs, and providing operational enhancements. Conducts feasibility analyses on processes and equipment calculates costbenefit and business impact and proposes solutions. Skills Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering Information Systems, Computer Science or related field plus 4 years of relevant experience. Data collection and data pipeline development by writing queries for SQL server, SAP Hana and Microsoft Access Advanced knowledge of SAP MRP and SAP MM, SD modules Capability to analyze and interpret data with statistical methods Prior experience of building data dashboards will be a plus Prior knowledgeexperience or Interest to build models using ClientAI techniques will be a plus Experience with leading Executive presentations Customer focus (internal and external), critical thinking and creative problem solving Teamwork and collaboration, empathy and continuous learning Experience with planning, analytical tools Ex OracleDemantra, SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response, BI, Tableau or similar Equal Opportunity Employer VeteransDisabled
