Your Role and Responsibilities This role is for a Senior Managing Consultant within the SAP practice, which delivers SAP implementation services across all sectors of IBM within North America. This individual will be responsible for delivery of projects, developing the go-to-market strategy, business development, cross-selling with other IBM services, proposal development, ensuring the quality of engagement delivery, thought leadership, keeping the practice members utilized, and ultimately growing services revenue each year. The SAP Senior Managing Consultatn will be very knowledgeable with required SAP product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules and SAP’s Business Intelligence. You will be advising corporate executives (CxO’s) and leaders (VPs and Directors) our internal client teams on the benefits delivered by S/4HANA and how IBM GBS will provide the services to get them there. You will help craft and deliver answers to client questions like “Why should I move to S/4 HANA in support of manufacturing and quality operations?” and “How do I move to S/4 HANA for Operations” and “How can I get more benefits out of my SAP supply chain, manufacturing and quality data with cognitive applications?” Sales and Delivery You will support sales at key accounts by leading the scoping, solutioning, and program planning around both SAP ECC and S/4 Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM) and Quality Management (QM). You must be a great storyteller. This will be required to support sales and go-to-market activities for SAP S/4 HANA deals, which will include writing and shaping proposals and presenting at Orals. You will support delivery teams as a subject matter expert (SME) for ongoing S/4 programs and help kickoff and plan new ones. Offer Development and Differentiation You will help IBM differentiate itself by leading the development of cognitive extensions to S/4 HANA Enterprise Management. It is your responsibility to collaborate with our Watson team to ensure the latest cognitive solutions and perspectives are included in our SAP solutions. You will ensure our SAP solutions encompass the latest innovations, S/4 HANA processes, and best practices. At least 4 years of solid business process knowledge and business process blue printing experience Integration experience with various supply chain, manufacturing and quality laboratory systems such as Manufacturing/Lab Execution Systems (MES/LES), Laboratory Management Information Systems (LIMS) and planning/scheduling solutions is a plus At least 2 years of experience selling supply chain, manufacturing and quality related transformation programs, including strategic alignment with executives, solution development, and closing business. Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Proven thought leadership in SAP Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Quality processes and systems, demonstrated by whitepapers, presentations at Industry and/or SAP events is preferred Should be well aware of the S/4HANA roadmap, differences between 1610,1709,1809 and 1909 releases and new innovations that are brought in in each of the S/4HANA releases. Big Data and cognitive experience is a plus. None
