We are currently seeking an Accounting leader, ideally from a manufacturing/industrial firm background, to take on the role of Accounting Supervisor in the greater Savannah, GA area, in a role where you will lead, plan, direct basic accounting and finance functions and team members across this location, and interacting with others. This is an accounting role encompassing all areas of accounting from GL, AR, AP, reconciliation, you name it. More of an PROJECT LEAD versus a leader of a large team of junior accountants, but those with the ability to do BOTH are welcome Compensation will be commensurate with the experience brought, likely in the 65-85K salary range, DOE. What You Will Be Doing This role is a hands on supervisory role, with the work on a day to day basis will be everything from AP, AR, and Treasury including all daily and monthly accounting duties, in accordance with GAAP. Essential Functions Will Include General Ledger & Monthly/Year End Work Accounts Payable/Receivable Reconciliation General Ledger Prepare accrual, prepaid spreadsheets in preparation for month end close Credit Card / Concur Expense reconciliation Year-end reporting / 1099s Interfacing with both Internal and External Auditors Working with SAP software What You Need for this Position We Would Like To Find Those With 5-10 years Supervisory Experience, including specific experience with Accounts Payable, Receivable, GL, Reporting, you name it. GAAP experience and Understanding We would like to find someone with a solid background working with/using SAP Microsoft Office including pivot tables and V lookup formulas experience/abilities desired.
