As a member of a global team this role will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The Global IT Product Owner is responsible to oversee the portfolio of SAP Finance and related applications. The position will identify, prioritize, and coordinate project resources engaged with initiatives within the SAP Finance portfolio. The position is also responsible for management engagement and reporting on the status and performance of initiatives. This role has overarching responsibility to manage the entire life cycle of IT investments and initiatives to achieve business goals and objectives within the SAP Finance portfolio. This role requires seven to ten years of experience with a full cycle implementation and support. In addition to being proficient in verbal and written communication, this role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to find innovative solutions to various challenges. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with project teams to manage/oversee the full range of the project life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, close) covering a portfolio of projects which focus on the business needs for the Finance Services organization. Ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the projects and programs in the portfolio and resolve or escalate conflicts. Ensure the adherence to the appropriate governance functions and in accordance with enterprise guidelines, policies and practices. Conduct periodic reviews with senior business and IT stakeholders to assess the project portfolio, execute change, and reprioritize to meet business needs as required. Perform regular health checks of project QA checklists. Create and maintain the required project documentation and artifacts. SENIOR LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIES: Executive Steering Committee-level presentations Portfolio Management milestone plans and resource allocation Accept responsibility for deliverables and timeline commitments SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing client relationships Directly supervise the team members Define, develop and execute application road maps Mentor junior level staff Interact with all levels of personnel to determine technology requirements Contribute to ongoing improvement of organizational project management processes EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field Seven or more years of experience in IT and/or the consumer products industry. Seven to 10 years of involvement with a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects. At least 5 years of SAP experience supporting General Ledger in addition to at least 5 of the accompanying capacities: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System, Management Accounting. SAP S/4 HANA, ECC 6.0 Implementation, CFIN Implementation, SAP Finance (RTR) – General Ledgers, Parallel Ledgers, Document Splitting, Banking, EBS, Lockbox, Inter-Company, AR, AP and Tax Accounting SAP CO – Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Costing Sheet, CO-PA SAP Integration with Other Modules – MM and SD SAP Capex – Project Systems (PS), Investment Management (IM)and Asset Accounting, Demonstrated experience in managing “upward” among senior leadership Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams Demonstrated experience in client interfacing skills, team building, and strong interpersonal skills Consulting leadership experience a plus
