Apex Systems is looking for a SAP ABAP Programmer, 6 month long project. Please email your resume to Jodi, jpowersapexsystems.com 100% Remote This is a Sr Level role, looking for 7 years of experience Extensive experience in developing business applications using SAP ABAP programming language (Reports, Conversion programs, Utility programs, Function Modules, Classes etc.,) Extensive experience in designing and developing business applications and programs using ABAP Object oriented programming model Very strong experience in designing and developing system interfaces with SAP systems using RFC, BAPI, ALE/IDOCs, File interfaces etc., Enhancing SAP system using User exits, Customer exits and enhancement framework options Identifying and applying SAP notes Experience in developing ABAP programs and interfaces related to various SAP modules (Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Inventory management, Financial management and Asset Accounting and Management) Experience in creating technical design documents and interface specifications from business requirements and functional design documents Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and test planning, coordination, and execution Ability to effectively communicate in technical and non-technical terms Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong customer service skills which include an in-depth understanding of customer business processes and needs High Level Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements and functional design documents to create technical design documents Design and develop programs, enhancements, and system integrations to meet business requirements Participate in test planning and carry out necessary testing activities Participate in implementation planning Implement changes to live production system Provide necessary technical support in resolving issues on the programs, enhancements, and system integrations Develop necessary support procedures and conduct knowledge sharing sessions to transfer knowledge on the programs, enhancements and system integrations developed for the project EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
