Our Opening and Your Responsibilities This is a position in a Global team with team members in Asia, Europe and the Americas with a joint commitment to supporting the SAP business users in all METTLER TOLEDO units in the day-to-day operations. Act as a Technology SME in SAP Application-Basis team with strong hands-on experience.Perform installations, upgrades, DB upgrades & other configuration or maintenance activities in support of business change program activities. Support Landscape Managers, provide BAU (Business As Usual) oversight & Proactive Services delivery. Support Problem analysis leading to architectural pattern re-development & continual service improvement activity (individually & through the SME team) Support & drive technical initiatives cross landscapes Participate in established governance and knowledge sharing forums. What You Need to Succeed Knowledge of Experience as a technology SME, from consulting, architectural or operational background Supporting teams in implementation of solutions/ problem analysis & remediation activities.Strong technical skills in the SAP Basis administration arena, acquired through practical experience in installation and support Able to support detailed planning, documentation and quality assurance processes, especially change control, which will support the timely implementation of enhancements to the server environment whilst maintaining the highest levels of operational service. High levels of self-motivation and focus to work with the minimum of supervision and deliver against agreed targets.
