This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the operations function. This position will report to the plant manager.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Build knowledge of existing Chempax inventory system and support transformation to SAPWork closely with the Engineering and Operation Teams to develop a functional knowledge of Ashland’s production systems as they apply to SAP.Maintain compliance with Ashland SOX Controls.Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, and EHS to support new and existing processes as needed for SAP.Manage and maintain accurate inventories within SAP of all raw materials, packaging materials, work in progress, and finished goods inventories.Lead cycle counts as specified by Ashland policies.Provide support for all functions of SAP related to receiving, production scheduling and confirmation, shipping, invoicing and other general SAP usage concerns.In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:SAP experience.Proficient in the use of computers and typical office applications.Ability to work with individuals and teams to drive company initiatives.Organized and able to prioritize work.Perform physical activities which include walking, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting 25 lbs., or reaching depending on the work activity required. Work is performed in an office/plant environment with occasional trips to the operating areas to verify paperwork and inventory.Authorized to work in the U.S.In more than 100 countries, the people of Ashland LLC.
