Follow us on Twitter at BWXTech and learn more at www.bwxt.com.BWXT is currently seeking a SAP Functional Analyst for its Lynchburg, VA locationJob Description/Duties:Collaborate with corporate and business unit purchasing organizations to deliver solution improvements. Some examples are:Increasing use of SAP requisitions with approval workflowsImproved vendor master maintenance processesProvide a method to record and report on purchase order cost savingsCollaborate with the functional and development teams to deliver business processes, enhancements, conversions, reports, forms, and workflows.Collaborate with the broader SAP functional and development teams on cross functional projects.Release transport for migration to the Quality Assurance System.Define and execute test plan to assure proper application functioning. Job Qualifications/Requirements:A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.Must possess at least 15 years of related experience.Experience in material management, inventory management, and warehouse management.Must be proficient in SAP configuration and business process experience in the materials management and warehouse management modules with integration knowledge of finance, production planning, project system, quality management and plant maintenance modules. Must have a thorough understanding of ECC 6.0, SAP MM, SAP WM, and SAP Batch Management. Experience with S/4HANA is preferred but, not required. Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Must be highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products.Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment is required.Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is required.Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
