The SAP Functional Lead – QTC will lead the gathering of business requirements, process analysis, solutions design, system configuration and support across multiple platforms andor cross-functional areas in a fast-paced global environment. This individual will work closely with the business users, other IT resources and consultants to meet required objectives. The candidate will be responsible for providing leadership as well as hands on experience for implementing ldquobest practicerdquo processes in the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Global Trade Services (GTS) modules of SAP. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS bull Develop and deliver SAP SD GTS solutions to fulfill business requirementsbull Researches, analyzes, designs, identifies, and facilitates process improvements that focus on providing standard SAP functionality to meet business requirements wherever possiblebull Responsible for project deliverables including requirements gathering, blueprints, functional specifications, system configuration, test, training and go-live supportbull Lead fitgap workshops and present system solution alternatives to business leaders andor process ownersbull Assume the role of IT project leader, on business-driven IT initiatives, including technical upgradesbull Review application code, documentation, architecture and development methods for quality and adherence to standardsbull Perform daily support of user activity including maintenance and configuration of existing systemsbull Perform application changes as required to fulfill business requirements and in compliance with SOX and segregation of duties policies bull Facilitate the execution of user acceptance testing by business usersbull Works with and empowers the super users in the SAP SD and GTS areasbull Ensure change management records are adequately documentedbull Continually seeks self-education to acquire deeper and wider knowledge and gain cross functional knowledgeOther duties may be assigned SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
