This position will be onsite in Charlotte, NC The Solutions Architect serves as the interface between business users and technology, utilizing a deep understanding and experience of ERP platforms, specifically SAP S4 HANA, to ensure the overall solution design meets ongoing business requirements. The Solution Architect leads Functional Analysts and seeks out opportunities for continuous improvement in the SAP business solution while supporting all aspects of the SAP solution, including Record to Report, Order To Cash, Procure to Pay, Plan to Deliver, and EWM. Design adaptable, comprehensive, technical and procedural solutions which are appropriate for each business process. Act as the primary authority for the overall design and implementation of upgrades, releases, enhancements and revisions while ensuring adherence to all design procedures for reliable operations. Apply a thorough understanding of the SAP data models and tables to help craft analytics and reporting solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee functional analysts and seek out opportunities for continuous improvement Work directly with Technical Architect to support appropriate solution design Interface with the IT Infrastructure Support organization to apply Incident Management Processes Act as a member of the Change Control Board for the overall solution Design, Enhance and Apply various Change Control Release Management Processes Ensure compliance with CSV and other regulatory requirements Participate in FitGap workshops to confirm solution requirements, critical gaps, and solution viability Review and confirm future state solution meet end-to-end business process requirements Establish and manage solution governance Support data migration transformation activities Support development of end-to-end test scenarios Support the design and development of analytics and reporting solutions Review program deliverables and status Support development and review of end-user training materials Ability to attract and manage talent SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position has direct reports. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 5 years gathering, translating and applying business requirements for IT applications At least 3 years of experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) At least 3 years’ experience managing people Proven, strong project management skills for large scope projects Experience with standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices such as Waterfall, Agile, or DevOps. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences or a Business-related field Extensive knowledge of SAP S4 HANA workstreams such as Order to Cash and Plan to Deliver Experience managing third party vendors and contractors, especially Application Management Service providers Computer Systems Validation experience with familiarity in FDA CFR 21 Part 11 compliance IT leadership role in a regulated industry Experience managing enterprise architecture Experience in implementing and managing release and change management processes U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
