JOB DESCRIPTION: WHAT YOU’LL DO We have an exciting opportunity for an SAP Security Administrator within our Rapid Diagnostics business located in Lake Forest, IL. The Global Access Administration organization has a global charter that is principally responsible for ensuring proper control of access to Abbott IT and data assets for enterprise computer platforms and applications on a global, regional, divisional and local basis. Technology expert on a global basis for current technologies Serve as an escalation point for technicians and all levels of Analysts to resolve complex issues. Work at strategic technical and process level. Resolve incidents via the IT Service Management System per documented SLA timeframes and according to Abbott security policies Establishes long-term strategic approach to audit issue remediation. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures Monitors and organizes the efforts of technical and business support staff Act as liaison between IT and business areas Develops, documents and ensures alignment of processes across all GAA and GIS services Serve as focal point for new strategic direction of new technologies into the GAA business processes, including long-range plan, business cases and Interact with users, Global IS counterparts to establish business requirements for LRP technologies and have expert understanding of underlying technology Serve as SME to develop and document processes in preparation for implementation into operational use within GAA Identify systemic problems based on common access control incidents and provide and implement holistic resolutions to process, technology, education Act as lead and subject matter expert on multiple regional and/or global-level projects according to milestones and budget and provides leadership assistance to program or project managers on phases of larger regional/global project Act as trainer and technical and/or process resource to less experienced staff and customer base Functionally accountable to Senior Manager, Global Access Administration or Director, Global Access Administration Scope of work is based primarily on global Access Administration activities May have indirect project budget responsibility, stay within project budget Directs technical efforts of analysts and support staff Assists management in technical training, guiding, and evaluating less experienced IS and technical staff EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience 7-10 years’ experience Security Technology product implementation Software Development Lifecycle Business Systems IT or Security Operations Process Development & Enhancements Industry certification including CISSP, CISM, CISA required Outside USA: Fluent in English (written and verbal) and one other language within the region of hire at a fluent level EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
