Travel Type On-site (no expenses) Job Title Sr. SAP Business Systems Analyst Job Requirements Leads analysis, configuration, implementation, and testing of information systems to support the goals and objectives of the Corporation. Specific responsibility for the ongoing support of application software systems including but not limited to various modules of SAP S4HANA and other allied andor integrated solutions, by performing the following essential duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Under the direction of the Business Applications Manager, performs a variety of duties related to providing sound, effective, and reliable systems solutions involving SAP S4HANA and other allied andor integrated solutions. Identifies system solutions or new functionality to address business requirements in new or existing processes. Recommends application changes, functionality alternatives, or requests for custom development collaboratively within IT and the business areas. Drafts functional and technical design documents related to relevant applications based on business requirements. Leads activities in upgrades or addition of new applications to the IT landscape relating to areas of responsibility. Understands and applies SAP S4HANA configuration of solutions for new business processes, enhancements, and upgrades as required by the business and approved by management. Hands on experience implementing PPDS APO. Creates new and updates existing application configurations to meet design requirements in full compliance with formal change management and other governance protocols. Writes and performs functional testing to ensure solution meets specifications and functions correctly. Writes and maintains documentation to describe solution configuration, process flow and behavior, testing, defects and resolution. Creates and provides training documents for new or modified processes or functionality for end users or technical support staff. Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about system processes or configuration. Monitors performance of configuration after implementation. Responsible for reacting to all off-hour calls regarding system problems in a prompt and reasonable time. Supports the team philosophy and team approach to problem solving and communication. Works to improve the relationship between the various areas in the Information Technology Dept by applying good interaction skills and demonstrating respect for others. Builds those same relationship skills with internal and external customers. Provides regular updates to teammates, management, and stakeholders on work status, progress and plans. Stays abreast of best business practices by participating in discussion forums, seminars, training, user groups, Internet sources, and other organizations. Performs special assignments as requested by the Business Applications Manager. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION andor EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years of SAP or relevant application experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write functional and technical specifications, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong computer skills are necessary for this position Fully skilled in general IT, programming logic, functional design documentation and procedures, testing and quality control concepts, and ERP concepts along with general word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software, Internet and e-mail. Knowledge of most office equipment. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Have a strong business knowledge in the specific area(s) of Information Technology responsibility.
