Position Summary: The Sr SAP SAP MFG Developer at Illumina will be a part of a team whose vision is to transform human health. As part of the Global Information Services team, you will be designing and developing user experiences and interactions that delight our internal customers and make their jobs easier. We will turn to you to improve experiences that engage users, generate user engagement, and enable self-service. You will collaborate with our internal partners through end-to-end projects, which includes discovery, design, wireframing, coding, testing, troubleshooting, presentation, and delivery. You will own the success of delivering against project goals. To be successful, you are creative, collaborative, process-friendly, and have the ability to work within time-lines on multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work across multiple teams within the GIS organization including: Development leads, Business Analysts, Architecture, Infrastructure, BASIS, Project Managers and Senior Management. Responsibilities: Design and deliver capability to collect EAM Counter, Condition information from IoT Gateways and Plant Historians using SAP MII & PCo including the enabling of writing of the data to a Cloud Time Series Data Store Design and deliver capability to run offline EAM and PPPI process Design UI5 User Experience for MII Apps and support the existing SAP Fiori Applications and ABAP Development in ECC Be an innovator for the team by keeping abreast of SAP technologies and development practices Manage a task or development item through the SDLC – Agile, Waterfall etc methodologies and communicate project status to upper management and provide insight on any current and upcoming issues. Escalate issues to key management and stakeholders and work with the team(s) to reach to solutions Develop, test and de-bug compatibility across the MFG Landscape including SAP, Fiori, MII & integrated systems and also Supports existing and new interfaces, and has good understanding of integration with 3rd party tools. Collaborate with many teams including security, functional, development and operations support groups to efficiently and effectively deliver operational excellence. Develop and design wireframes, interactive prototypes, design mockups, and specifications. Define and communicate user scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to ensure development is on track and also to resolve issues and provide root cause analysis for defect resolution Collaborate with software and system developers across the organization to evolve and adhere to established corporate design patterns Requirements: 5 years of cumulative experience as a SAP technologies developer for the MFG space, integration designer, or similar role Extensive experience technical designing, code development, unit through integration testing and deployment procedures for applications based on technologies including Core Java/JSP, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, SAP MII & MS SQL. SAP DMI also a plus Experience in Developing complex SQL code such as Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, queries, views, tables for the application using MS SQL Server Expertise in troubleshooting systems, root cause analysis of incidents, developing resolution procedures and documentation of the knowledge gained Good understanding of IT service management process and Supply chain, Management & Operations and experience in working on SAP ECC/EAR/EAM/WM/EWM/PP/PP-PI Extensive experience with Integrations through iDocs, MII and MES peripheral systems required Experience with SAP cloud platform, WebIDE development, SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Portal services, OData services, Portal Services, configuration & customize Fiori apps and Launchpad, FIORI app extensions a plus Experience with full life-cycle SAP implementations especially SAP – EAM/PM projects a plus Experience in ABAP Programming and developing native iOS apps using SAP FIORI for iOS a plus Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related degree.
